A card game for conversations that don't usually happen on their own.
PastSmallTalk is a card game built for the conversations that don't usually happen on their own. Each deck is a series of questions — some light, some vulnerable, some ridiculous — that you answer out loud with whoever you're sitting across from. Date nights, long-distance calls, friend dinners, road trips, first-day-at-the-new-job awkwardness. Anywhere two or more people want to get past the surface.
The game comes in two forms. There's the physical deck — an actual box of cards you pull one at a time — and there's the online version you can play on your phone or laptop. Same questions, same rhythm: one card, one answer, next card. The online version also lets you generate a personalized deck tuned to your vibe, whoever you're with, and the kind of night you're having.
We publish curated decks written by real people — therapists, comedians, writers, and creators we trust — alongside classic formats like Would You Rather, Never Have I Ever, One Has To Go, and Exposed. Most of it's free. The upgrade exists for people who want unlimited personalized games, and that's the only thing we charge for.
